What is Kanban?
Kanban is a framework that is widely used at different organizations. A beautiful combination of Kanban and Scrum can truly help organizations unleash potentials.
Kanban methodology originated over a few decades ago. Toyota began optimizing its processes based on the same model that supermarkets were using to stock their shelves. Supermarkets stock just enough product to meet consumer demand, a practice that optimizes the flow between the supermarket and the consumer.
Kanban system originated from the above experience but enhances its application at software development and product development spaces. There are different applications as part of organization improvement efforts, just to name a few, Impediment Kanban, Portfolio Kanban, etc.
This workshop helps participants apply the learning into their work context, from support, services, to portfolio management level, to create pulling effects and benefit the focus on flow at organization levels.
